Practicing My Poor English (11)

Surfing is an exciting and strenuous sport.
There are more people surfing in Hong Kong in recent years.
My elder cousin Ping is a good surfer.
Last weekend, his wife Mandy invited me to watch him surfing.
The sun shone bright on the billowing boundless sea.
I sat on a flat and smooth rock with Mandy on the waterfront.
We looked attentively at Ping's every single move while he was surfing.
Though I never thought of learning surfing, I wanted to take a good look at it.
Ping's surfboard was made of fiberglass and foamed plastic.
At the rear part of the board, there was a fin like the one on a shark's back.
At first, Ping waited with the narrow surfboard motionless.
When there were waves, he surfed on the board at the speed of about 20 miles per hour.
The waves billowed wildly on the blue sea.
They looked like steep slopes.
Ping moved faster at that time.
Surfing up and down, he went through the arch of a large wave.
Waves in front fell down, then waves in back rose up.
The surfboard splashed its way.
With a high speed, Ping showed good judgement in riding the waves smooth and steady.
The waves were beautiful, majestic, brisk and dangerous.
It looked like that they're luring or challenging the surfers.
The rushing, dashing, rolling and surging of the waves are the melody and rhythm of nature.
The scene was so grand and spectacular that nothing else could even be compared to it.
When Ping was back on the shore, he looked vigorous and bore the smile of a conqueror.

Today our school held an autumn tour.
The destination was Nam Wai in Sai Kung.
At 8 o'clock in the morning, we set off from school by bus.
Going along the winding Clear Water Bay Road, we arrived after 9 o'clock.
There was a thick forest.
Outside the forest, it was an autumn scene.
Far on the sea, there were many small islands scattered like chesspieces.
It was beautiful.
We placed our belongings and went to do what we liked respectively.
Some played badminton; some kicked shuttlecock; some had a barbecue; some collected shells on the beach; some played party games with teachers.
Happy times fly like a rocket.
The sun was setting and we had to leave with our teacher.

  1. 翻譯得很美!
    相信最令滑浪者神往的,
    就是被巨浪捲入而能滑過再衝浪而出。
