Rainy Night

It's a rainy night.
Raindrops beating like a sad song against rooftops.
In front of a temple, two senior citizens stood under the eaves, looking up on the grey sky.
'Romeo, do you believe there are ghosts in the world?' one of the old men asked.
'No, I don't think so, Velentino,' the other man said. 'There are no aliens outside the earth, and no ghosts.'
'Maybe. But if there're ghosts, this rainy night will suit them - dark, wet and cold...' Velentino said.
'Yea...Are you hungry?' Romeo asked. 'I've got some incense sticks.' He gave Velentino an incense stick and said, 'Try it - a new brand.'
Velentino lit it up and stabbed it at his own left eye. 'Not bad,' he said with his face covered with drops of blood.
'Hey! The rain is stopped. Let's go.' Romeo shouted.
'OK. I'm not deaf.'
Then they flew across the cloudy sky.
Suddently, a monk stuck his head out from the temple's window, and said, 'Evidently, they're ghosts, but they don't know it. So, there is a proverb that says "those closely involved cannot see as clearly as those outside".'
In the sky, a stretch of clouds was lit by moonlight.
